Amazing Tour with Egypt Key Tours

I had an amazing private tour of the pyramids of Giza and old Cairo lead by Jimmy from Egypt Key Tours. My Group had a very limited time (18hr Cairo layover) and the trip jimmy put together was amazing. Unfortunately our arrival was after closing of the pyramids but jimmy arranged a special camel ride to the backside of the pyramids which was crazy amazing.

After that we had a pre-arranged dinner and afterwards a private tour of the Old Cairo after dark. The market and architecture of Old Cairo is unforgettably and Jimmy made the whole experience even more unforgettable by his meticulous planning and knowledge.

He was very easy to listen to (a walking history book) and made us feel absolutely safe. When I return to Egypt there will be two certainties-that I have more than 18 hrs, and that I book with Egypt Key Tours!

DAY 1: ARRIVAL CAIRO

Upon arrival to Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted by Egypt Key Tours representative who will help you during passport control, luggage area. Then, you will be transferred to you hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check in and overnight in Cairo.

DAY 2: CAIRO-LUXOR-NILE CRUISE (4 NIGHTS)

In the morning , you will be picked up from your hotel to Cairo Airport to fly to Luxor.

Upon arrival to Luxor Airport, you will meet Egypt Key tour guide, who will escort you to visit the enormous temple complex at Karnak, featuring the temple of Amun and the amazing Avenue of the sphinx.

Then visit the grand temple of Luxor.

Board your luxury cruise ship in time for lunch, and stay overnight.

DAY 3: NILE CRUISE- LUXOR-EDFU

Discover the Valley of the Kings in the Theban Hills west of the Nile, where tombs were built for the powerful kings of the New kingdom. Admire Queen Hatshepsut’s impressive temple at Deir el- Bahri.And view the Colossi of Memnon carved from quartzite sandstone.

Later sail to Edfu.

DAY 4: NILE CRUISE- EDFU-KOM OMBO

Visit Egypt best-preserved cult temple at Edfu dedicated to the Falcon god Horus. Relax and admire the scenery as you sail upstream to Kom ombo. Little has changed in a thousand years.

Afternoon Sail to Kom Omob , and Tour the temple of Kom ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-headed god, Sobek

This evening dress up in traditional clothing and experience a fun filled Egyptian dinner and Galabeya party on board.

DAY 5: NILE CRUISE –ASWAN “Felucca Ride”:

Have a Leisure Day on board the Nile Cruise

Optional: We can arrange for you a Day Tour to Abu Simbel Temples

Afternoon , Sail in a traditional Felucca across the Nile to see the botanical gardens on Kitchener’s island, and Agha Khan Mausoleum.

Stay on board overnight

DAY 6: DISEMBARK – ASWAN – Fly to CAIRO

Disembark in Aswan after breakfast, to explore the High Dam. Visit the temple of Isis on the island of Philae .see the unfinished obelisk. Enjoy Felucca ride to see the botanical Garden

After finishing the trip, our tour guide will drop you to Aswan Airport to fly back to Cairo.

Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo to check in and stay overnight.

DAY 7: CAIRO SIGHTSEEING City Tour:

Thousands of years of history are brought to life during your full day of sightseeing. See the ancient citadel, built to protect the city from the Crusaders.

Marvel at the alabaster mosque’s ornate interior and Sultan Hassan Mosque, one of the masterpieces of Mamluk architecture.

See Tutankhamen’s priceless treasures at the Egyptian museum, which were discovered by Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings in 1922.

then go to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, which is one of Cairo’s main attractions.

After the tour you will drop back to the hotel.

DAY 8: CAIRO – PYRAMID EXCURSION

See the limestone Colossus of Ramses the great and giant alabaster sphinx at Memphis.

Admire the step pyramid at Sakkara, which heralded the beginning of the pyramid age.

Marvel at the Great pyramids of Giza, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. See the enigmatic great Sphinx – the oldest monumental sculpture in the world.

After that, you will drop back to your hotel, Cairo overnight.
