In the Divine triad of Memphis she was the wife of Ptah and mother of Nefertum. She is identified with the goddesses Wadjet, Hathor and Bast. Sekhmet is depicted as a lioness, or as a woman with the head of a lioness, who carries the sun disk.Her powerful aura in the Egyptian history made her the epitome of power and energy and all this gave a good reason to name Dahabiya after her.
