Amazing Tour with Egypt Key Tours
I had an amazing private tour of the pyramids of Giza and old Cairo lead by Jimmy from Egypt Key Tours. My Group had a very limited time (18hr Cairo layover) and the trip jimmy put together was amazing. Unfortunately our arrival was after closing of the pyramids but jimmy arranged a special camel ride to the backside of the pyramids which was crazy amazing.
After that we had a pre-arranged dinner and afterwards a private tour of the Old Cairo after dark. The market and architecture of Old Cairo is unforgettably and Jimmy made the whole experience even more unforgettable by his meticulous planning and knowledge.
He was very easy to listen to (a walking history book) and made us feel absolutely safe. When I return to Egypt there will be two certainties-that I have more than 18 hrs, and that I book with Egypt Key Tours!

Egyptian Museum
In the morning, you will be escorted by Egypt Key tour guide to visit the Egyptian Museum, which is the world’s greatest repository of ancient Egyptian treasures, including those belong to the child King Tutankhamen. As well as many other fascinating artifacts and additional visit to the mummies room at the museum. It was built 1901 and it exhibits more than 120,000 masterpieces dating back to the ancient Egyptian period.
Islamic Cairo
Move to visit the Citadel of Saladin Al Ayouby, which is considered one of most stunning constructions in Cairo. It was built in the 12th century AD to fortify Cairo against the crusaders. Inside the citadel, you will visit the great alabaster mosque of Mohammad Ali pasha, which is considered one of the most renowned historical and touristic landmarks in Egypt. The great mosque, along with the citadel, is one of the landmarks and a tourist attraction of Cairo. The citadel is very famous for its fresh breeze and grand views of the city of Cairo
Bazaar
Khan Al Khalili Bazaar, which is one of Cairo’s main attractions. The site of Khan Al Khalili was originally a mausoleum called “Turbat El Zaafran” (saffron tomb), which was the burial of Fatimid Caliphs. The mausoleum was part of the Fatimid great eastern palace complex, begun in 970 AD, after that it became a district for the Turkish community during the Ottoman period. However, now it has become a bazaar, where you will find many souvenir shops, coffeehouses “Café” serving Arabic coffee and offering Hookah “Shisha” and restaurants throughout the area. Khan Al-Khalili was located in the middle of Cairo’s most important zone of economic activity. A traditional and wonderful bazaar that truly shows the true Egypt.
