Spend 6 days exploring attractions of Cairo and Luxor. On private guided tours you will start your trip with Cairo. This is where you visit the iconic Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Amazing Tour with Egypt Key Tours

I had an amazing private tour of the pyramids of Giza and old Cairo lead by Jimmy from Egypt Key Tours. My Group had a very limited time (18hr Cairo layover) and the trip jimmy put together was amazing. Unfortunately our arrival was after closing of the pyramids but jimmy arranged a special camel ride to the backside of the pyramids which was crazy amazing.

After that we had a pre-arranged dinner and afterwards a private tour of the Old Cairo after dark. The market and architecture of Old Cairo is unforgettably and Jimmy made the whole experience even more unforgettable by his meticulous planning and knowledge.

He was very easy to listen to (a walking history book) and made us feel absolutely safe. When I return to Egypt there will be two certainties-that I have more than 18 hrs, and that I book with Egypt Key Tours!

DAY 1: Arrival Cairo

Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (around the clock)
Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport (Arrival procedures) and will then escort you to your hotel in an air-conditioned private vehicle. At the hotel, your tour manager will assist you with a smooth check-in and review your vacation itinerary to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Full Day, Giza pyramids-Saqqara-Memphis.

After breakfast you will be accompanied by your personal guide to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, along with the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple. Then,then proceed to Sakkara area to visit Sakkara Complex and first pyramid ever built, Djoser Pyramid. Then, move to Memphis; Old Kingdom’s capital and famous Necropolis. Back to hotel and overnight in Cairo.

DAY 3: Egyptian Museum,Citadel and Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

After taking breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, you will be escorted by your private guide to visit the Egyptian Museum.then proceed to Citadel of Salah El Din and Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Lunch will be taken throughout the tour at a local restaurant. Then, continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s oldest bazaar.

DAY 4: Flight to Luxor- Visit Karanak and Luxor Temple-sound&Light show at Karanak Temple.

After breakfast, you’ll check out from the hotel in the morning and then transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor,upon you arrval, will be greeted and taken by an air-conditioned vehicle to enjoy a visit to the impressive Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple.then taken to your hotel to check in.

Evening Sound and Light Show at Karanak

You will be transferred to see the Karnak Temples where you will attend the spectacular Sound and Light production. This spectacle will take about 75-minute first takes you around the temple grounds, and finally, the last act is played while you are seated along the Great Sacred Lake. The performance relates the history of Luxor as the capital of the ancient world.
Back to hotel and overnight in Luxor.

Day 5: Hot Air Balloon over Luxor -West Bank Tour- Flight to Cairo.

Early morning,Egypt Key Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor to the West Bank to enjoy Egypt Hot Air Balloon. Transfer to marine enjoy Soft drinks before you take the motor boat to the west bank, then you will be transferred to the take off area where you are going to start your balloon ride in the sky of the biggest open-air museum Luxor.The balloon ride takes 45 minutes befor you land again.

After that you will visit the Valley of the Kings, the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for burial, there are many kings buried in this valley. You will visit 3 tombs excluding the Tomb of King Tutankhamen.
Move on to enjoy the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately from 1490 to 1469 B.C), the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt.

At the end of the tour you will visit colossi of Memnon. After finish the day tour ,you will transfer to Luxor airport to fly back to Cairo,upon arrival to Cairo ,you will transfer to your hotel-overnight in Cairo.
