Cheops known as Khufu (Khenum Kufu)
Was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh, who ruled during the Fourth Dynasty in the first half of the Old Kingdom period (26th century BC). Khufu was the second pharaoh of the 4th dynasty; he followed his father, king Sneferu, on the throne of Egypt.
Pharaoh Cheops was so famous for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that he built the largest pyramid in Egypt at the time. Another reason is that he built the tallest pyramid back in his time and The final reason he is famous because Khufu’s Pyramid is only one of the seven ancient wonders of the world is still remaining.
Cheops consider the greatest pyramid builder in ancient Egyptian history and the one who built the tallest man made structure for nearly 4000 years old only surpassed by Eiffel Tower in France 1889.
