The temple was moved here in 1960’s, but slowly became neglected until recently. This was when archeologists came back and excavated it for future visitors to see. You will return to the ship for lunch before sailing farther down the Nile to Amada where the Temple of Amada is located; Amada is a more recent discovery than Jakkara and Tod that span from Egypt’s 18th Dynasty around 2200 years ago unlike Montuemhat III , Which is older by 1600-1200 years.
