When you get to Luxor, you will be picking up your holidaying tour manager who will assist you at the arrival lounge and ensure that any problems at customs or with currency exchange are taken care of quickly. After this is done a local Egyptologist tour guide will accompany you for a sightseeing tour in Luxor where we will visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Memnon Colossi. The sightseeing tour in Luxor ends with a ride on an air conditioned bus where we’ll pick-up our Nile boat which has been waiting for us just past Karnak Temple  for our grand departure to Esna! Once at Esna we put foot on board our boat – no need to worry about anything as everything will be taken care off!

Wake up with the sun and enjoy breakfast. Sail to Edfu by noon, visit Edfu Temple, wander through the market, barter for unique souvenirs! Go back on the boat and take a few hours to relax and do whatever you want (play board games, listen to music or just chat), then head off towards Silsela temple. Enjoy your dinner in grounds of the Temple or on deck of boat while drinking your favorite beverage reserved especially for you – it will be a perfect day!

Start by having breakfast at your leisure, then sail to Kom Ombo Temple, visit to the Greco Roman Temple Kom Ombo. Then sail on to Aswan and listen to the sounds of the water buffalo as they wade in the shallow water while you will see the Donkeys on the banks of the Nile as they go about their day to day business and watch out for various bird life of the river.

Enjoy breakfast on board, then enjoy a visit to the Philae Temple, The High Dam with enjoy walking in Aswan Bazaar. Back to the boat to enjoy an amazing evening in Aswan and overnight.

Disembarkation after enjoying your breakfast, then you will be transferred to Aswan airport / Aswan train station for final departure.

Once you arrive at Aswan airport or train station, a tour manager from Egypt Key Tours will meet you and escort you to your Amoura Dahabiya Nile Boat. Enjoy a lovely Lunch, followed by sailing for several hours and marvel over the lush scenery on the banks of the Nile. Head inside Kom Ombo Temple and explore its ruins, which have seen thousands of years pass with little change to their landscape.

If possible, breakfast will be served at your leisure on the deck of a Nile cruise hired specially for our group. We’ll take a trip to the Greco-Roman Temple of Kom Ombo. The temple itself is perfectly symmetrical, with two entrances, two halls, and two different sanctuaries dedicated to the Falcon God Heru-Ur or “Horus the Elder” and the Crocodile God Sobek. Afterwards we’ll board our boat and head to Gebel el Silsila. You’ll marvel at this less frequented destination as we tie up alongside the Speos of Hormheb – if all goes according to plan there may even be dinner in this unique atmosphere, with music inspired by Egypt’s ancient magic.

Wake up and start the day by enjoying your breakfast at leisure. Visit Edfu temple by horse carriage, one of the largest and most intact of Egypt’s monuments. Two beautiful granite statues of the Falcon God Horus flank the entrance. After visiting the temple, either ride or walk through the bazaar for a chance to barter for souvenirs, spices and perfumes. Enjoy a wonderful evening with dinner on board or if you prefer, eat dinner in the barge while under stars so bright they turn night-time into day! Dress in keeping with tradition – we have a selection of outfits that can be rented or you may choose to bring your own!

The morning after your breakfast with us in Esna, you’ll be escorted to Luxor where you will have the chance to visit a variety of interesting sights including the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon, and Karnak Temple. You will board your flight or train for your return trip home as your time in Egypt draws to a close.
